RECTOR (Senior Pastor)
Fr. Mike DiMarcangelo
Mike grew up outside of Philadelphia in South Jersey but has spent the last decade and a half on the West Coast. He graduated from Wheaton College, IL and received an M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary. There he worked for several years after graduation, first as a Research Assistant at the Fuller Youth Institute, then as Academic Planner in the Doctor of Ministry Office, and finally as Administrative Officer in the Executive Office, serving the President and the Board of Trustees. Mike helped launch Church of the Vine in Newberg, OR, and most recently was Associate Rector at All Saints Anglican Cathedral in Long Beach, CA. He especially loves to proclaim the good news of Jesus through Word and Sacrament, and to share life with brothers and sisters in Christ as we seek to grow together in love of God and our neighbors. He has served at Iona since 2022 alongside his wife Mandy and their three little ones.

VESTRY (Governing Board)
Every Anglican parish is governed by a Vestry, which is an old English name for the room adjacent to the sanctuary where clergy would put on their vestments and which was usually the only space for a meeting. The Vestry is composed of a group of lay people, elected by the congregations for their virtuous character, deep love of God and neighbor, and commitment to the local parish. They exercise stewardship of a congregation's temporalities (i.e. material resources), as well as provide wise counsel to the Rector (Senior Pastor) as he leads the congregation spiritually. Vestry members serve three-year terms.
Iona’s current Vestry members:
- David Eyk (Senior Warden)
- Bob Eddy (Junior Warden)
- Karen Duncan
- Chris Alderman
- Fr. Mike DiMarcangelo (Rector)
